An introduction to strategic planning for church and para-church ministries using the Ministry ToolBox strategic planning and project management software.
Objective: During this FOURTH DAY of training the emphais is on the integration of the ToolBox tools and the analysis of the ToolBox reports.
Agenda and Schedule ToolBox "Healthy Church" Analysis: Understand the principles of church health using the ToolBox 'Healthy Church' survey and 35 page color report including graphs, cross-referenced analysis, ministry principles and suggested ToolBox projects. (Day One - 9 am - 12 Noon)
Planning Overview and ToolBox Planning Process: Healthy churches have strong systemic processes. The ToolBox planning process is a flexible planning system that can be an effective tool for small, large or mega church models. (Day One - 1 pm - 5 pm)
TOOL - People (Resource) The necessity of tracking information to help believers develop and use their ministry giftedness is absolutely essential to effectively mobilize the church's ministry workforce to do what God has called it to do. Learn how. (Day Two - 9am - 12 Noon)
TOOL - Philosophy After creating your missional statements, learn how to build a philosophy of ministry that arises from your core values, mission and vision (missional) statements. (Day Two - 1 pm - 4:30 pm)
TOOL - Perspective (Survey) An emphasis will also be placed on the fundamentals of demographic and psychographic research vital to targeting and reaching unchurched people. Attenders will learn how to create church & community surveys and develop skills in interpreting survey data, demographics, and psychographics. (Day Three - 9 am - 12 Noon)
TOOL - Project The planning process enables the attender to create projects to implement their philosophy of ministry starting with more than 300 ToolBox modifiable projects. (Day Three - 1 pm - 4:30 pm)
TOOLS - Planning Analytical tools automate the process performing a SWOT analysis, creating objectives, setting priorities that result in a complete evaluation of the church's ministry. (Day Four - 9 am - 4:30 pm)
